Three system types

Sizing the system

Two numbers matter: panel array size (kWp) for how much you generate, and battery capacity (kWh) for how much you store. Start from your consumption — check your bill for monthly kWh — and the loads you must keep running through an outage. Oversizing wastes money; undersizing leaves you in the dark.

Don't skimp on DC protection

Solar DC is unforgiving — it doesn't have a natural zero-crossing, so faults don't self-extinguish the way AC does. A compliant array needs proper PV DC isolators, DC-rated circuit breakers and DC surge arrestors rated for the string voltage (often up to 1000–1500 V DC).
